(CDA 5) (ADM 1) This session is an in-depth orientation for new employees or those needing to brush up on basics including licensing, health, and fire regulations, supervision, professionalism, working with parents and coworkers, and the employees’ responsibility to children and the center.
B-1c *HEALTH: Learning about Food -1 Hour Serve Safe (CDA 1) (ADM 4) Learn how to incorporate nutrition into your curriculum with hands-on activities. Learn to provide a sanitary and safe food service avoiding food-borne illnesses. Identify ways to help children form healthy attitudes about food. This session meets the requirements for 1hr SERV Safe and 2 hr. additional health.

B-7b Understanding Documentation Using TS GOLD (Smart Teach) (CDA 7) (ADM 3) Learn what to document according to the smart teach objectives. Recognize where and when to identify skills mastery and the many ways to capture documentation electronically and by using shorthand and taking anecdotal notes. This will be a hands-on session, and each attendee will need their TS GOLD log-in information.
