July 9 - July 31

Important Notice:

  • LDOE is no longer funding health classes for Type III Centers and FCC providers. However, the 3-hour health class as well as medication, food safety, and epi pen training is still required.
  • To ensure you have the training you need available and convenient, NSU CFN will continue to offer health classes for a small registration fee of $10. Note that the fee is not refundable but you may substitute attendees if someone cannot attend.
  • All health classes will continue to be offered as a private class at your center with a fee of $400 for up to 40 people. If you do not have 40 employees, you may consider joining in with another center to make the session cost effective.
  • Regular training to meet licensing requirements continue to be free for Type III centers and registered or licensed family child care providers. Here are some of the advantages of an onsite class at your center: Your location, your time, your topic!!!  We can come to you!  *Call 318-677-3148 or email Lynette Rodgers rodgersl@nsula.edu to request a session to be conducted at your center. (Minimum 10 people)
  • Remember to check for the title on the WLS that the training code starts with NSU (Others share the training database with us. Please make sure you register for the correct training you wish to attend)
