Each workshop provides 3 clock hours of training and costs $18 per person.

W-2a  Physical Activities: Creating Chaos or Motivating Movement (CDA 2)                  Movement activities can get out of hand unless adults in charge know how to guide children during active time. Create an environment for movement experiences you and children enjoy together. 

W-2b  Rhythm, Rhyme, and Song (CDA 2)
Music is much more than singing a few songs each day with your children. This workshop will help you understand the many musical concepts that young children learn through music. 

W-2c  Sensational Sand and Wonderful Water Play (CDA 2)
Sand and Water play should be routine, integral parts of your program. Learn how to set up sensory activities and how they contribute to children's learning and support children's sensory development.

W-2f  Exploring Science (CDA 2)
Science and young children are natural combinations, yet many adults feel inadequate to provide science experiences. Learn what else you can do to provide exciting science challenges for children.

Music is an important component of any preschool program. This workshop addresses some of the concepts that children learn through music and provides ideas for how to make up your own songs.
